Abstract: This report describes the design and performance of a carbon dioxide absorbent canister designed to be used in a closed circuit diving set. The canister, called a semi-pendulum canister, is unusual because the gas flow within it is a combination of circuit and pendulum flow patterns. the performance of this canister appears to be superior to either parent type.
