| Abstract: | Various emergency procedures are used by recreational rebreathers in case they have a complete rebreather failure. Open circuit bailout ascent proved to be the most common and the safest way to ascend to the surface. However several studies show that a large array of problems can occur. the purpose of the authors is to analyze these elements and the possibility to standardize these procedures. |
