Abstract: The adaptometer is a simplifier arrangement for the direct presentation in varying positions of rotation of four self-luminous stimuli which vary in brightness over a total range of .9 log uuL units. Results of tests on this adaptometer indicate that the test-retest reliability of scores is lower than that of scores made by comparable subjects on other adaptometers. Report no. 1 on BuMed Project X-137 (AV-VI-19).
