Program Objectives: *Understand the physics and physiology specific to the underwater environment. Interpret circumstances surrounding a death of a person using recreational diving equipment. *Apply a few specialized techniques, while performing an autopsy on someone who died while performing a recreational dive. Interpret the findings of the postmortem examination in the context of the circumstances surrounding the death. *Discuss the epidemiology of diving related accidents. *Recognize resources available when faced with performing an autopsy on someone who died while using recreational diving equipment. |
