Abstract:
|
The Physiological and mathematical theory of decompression from exposure to high pressure in man is discussed with respect to the construction of a practical portable pneumatic analogue decompression computer. A prototype computer has been tested during 614 dives over a wide range of depths and times, with particular emphasis on its repetitive diving capability. An increase in safety with a significant saving in decompression time results from its use. |
