Abstract:
|
The feasibility of developing a portable neuropsychological assessment battery for employment throughout the fleet was examined. Neuropsychological performance data were collected from divers assigned permanently to NEDU, as well as TAD divers participating in experimental dives conducted at NEDU. The various tests used for collecting baseline performance scores are discussed. Baseline performance levels are presented, as well as performance levels across repeated test trials. The limitations to developing and administering such a battery in the fleet are also discussed, and some potential alternative test batteries are described. |
