Title: [abstract] THE SUDEK KNEE SYNDROME: TREATMENT WITH HYPERBARIC OXYGEN THERAPY.
Author: Oriani, G; Tecchio, G; Meazza, D; Turati, A; Sacchi, C; Ronzio, A
Abstract: Pain, Oedema, Osteoporosis, characteristic of the Algoneurodystrophy of Sudek may sometimes occur in a knee after an operation, trauma or also idiopathetically. Among the pathologies highly improved by a hyperbaric oxygen therapy Sudek has a follow-up of more than ten years. The Authors backed up by more than 130 cases, have pointed up an accurate protocol whose principles are described; among these the vasoactive effect and the stimulus to a correct deposit of minerals are essential to the satisfactory results obtained.
